So far today's been an amazing day. I received $225 in new donations so I'm definitely off on the right foot! Good 'ol Mom and Dad were my first sponsors followed by my Semester at Sea buddies, Dave and Jenny. Thanks are also in order for two of my co-workers at Dean College, Jenn and Chris... way to step it up!
I've done a little work on my PEPY website but my priority is now shifting to getting the word out. Please forward this link to ANYONE you think may be even remotely interested in donating: http://www.patlilja.net/PEPY/ . The more exposure it gets, the more potential money could be raised!
I called Domino's Pizza today to discuss fundraising opportunities with the owner. Unfortunately he wasn't in but I explained my cause to the woman who answered the phone and feel optimistic about the whole situation. It's just a matter of time to see how it all pans out but I feel that I'm on to something big <fingers crossed>.
