~ Maryann and Myself ~
I first met Maryann (the organizer of the PEPY Hurricane Relief Ride) in May, 2005. We were both chosen to be volunteer language teachers on the 49th Voyage of the Peace Boat. We shared a classroom as well as numerous conversations which often lasted well into the night. We grew quite close over the course of our global voyage and I'm looking forward to spending time with my good friend again as we bike across the Louisiana landscape.
